Using the Request Verification Button

Users can utilize the Request Verification button on the Verification List page to manually request verifications from the interface sources listed below:

FYI – (32378) When selecting the Request Verification button, if you get the warning “WARNING! If you choose to continue, the current DHS case is closed and the verification process starts over from the beginning. Click the “Request Verification” again to continue” and you do not have an INS verification pending, disregard the message.  If you do have a pending INS verification, do not hit the Request Verification button again.

To request verifications:

  1. Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click the Go button.

  2. Complete all data collection pages.

  1. Select Pending from the Status drop-down menu.

  2. Select Medical from the Program Type drop-down menu.

  3. Select the check box for the record(s) to verify.

  4. Click the Request Verification button.

Records verified by interfaces are identified by a Source field on each corresponding data collection detail page.
