Deleting Forms and NOAs

Prior to the Nightly Print Batch

After using Save and Print Locally, forms and NOAs cannot be changed or deleted.  This is because the document is presumed to already be distributed and cannot be changed from the electronic record.

The following instructions pertain only to documents in which the Save and Print Centrally method is used prior to the nightly print batch:

  1. Follow Distributed Document Search Within the Context of a Case.

NOTE: The Distributed Document Search - Search Results Summary page displays.  The form and/or NOA for deletion can be identified by title.  A NOA may have a Pending Review status.  Other statuses that allow a document to be deleted include Pending Print Central, Accepted-Pending Print Central and Pending Reprint Central.

  1. Select the check box for the document(s) to be deleted.

  2. Click the Delete button.

  3. Select Journal from Utility Navigation. Add a journal entry to document all program action. See Journal for more information about journaling functionality.

Deleting NOAs After Saving and Accepting an EDBC Result

After using Save and Print Locally, forms and NOAs cannot be changed or deleted.  This is because the document is presumed to already be distributed and cannot be changed from the electronic record.

After running EDBC and Saving/Accepting the result, if there is a change in benefits, or new benefits are being established a NOA is generated. All generated NOAs are to be reviewed for accuracy.

In the event a NOA should not be sent to the intended recipient:

  1. The user is navigated to the Distributed Document Search page after Saving and Accepting an EDBC Result.

NOTE: The NOA the user wishes to select for deletion can be identified by title.  A NOA may have a Pending Review status.  Other statuses that allow a document to be deleted include Pending Print Central, Accepted-Pending Print Central and Pending Reprint Central.

  1. Click the check box for the document(s) to be deleted.

  2. Click the Delete button. The Distributed Documents Search page re-displays without the NOA that was selected.

  3. Select Journal from Utility Navigation. Add a journal entry to document all program action. See Journal for more information about journaling functionality.
