Medicare Expense

The Medicare Expense Detail page is used for two purposes:

Recording a Medicare Expense to be used at EDBC in a benefit calculation for a Patient Liability, Client Obligation, or a Spenddown. A user would only enter information on a Medicare Expense Detail when allowing a Medicare Expense; otherwise, a user would not change any information on this page.
A ‘parent’ page to access the Medicare Information page. The Medicare Information page has Medicare Entitlement information populated by a Social Security interface. The Medicare Entitlement information must be present in order for KEES to approve a Medicare Savings Program.
