Add New Program - PPS

  1. Access the case through Person Search - PPS or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click Go.  The Case Summary page displays.

  2. Select New Program from Task Navigation. The Program Detail page displays.

  3. Select the required program from the Select Program drop-down menu then click the Go button. The New/Reapplication Detail page displays.

  4. Enter the application/referral date in the Application Date and Beginning Date of Aid/Program Begins on fields using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  5. Select the check box for the person that should be added to the new program block.

  6. Click the Save and Return button. The Program Detail page displays.

  7. Assign an Administrative Role, if applicable. The consumer (child) displays as the Primary Applicant/Recipient. See Establish an Administrative Role.

  8. Click the Save and Return button.  The Case Summary page displays.

  9. Select Case Info from Global Navigation and Worker Assignment from Local Navigation. The Pending Assignment List page displays.

    NOTE: Clicking the Cancel button on this page navigates the user to the Case Summary page without completing the worker assignment process.

  10. Select the check box for the program needing assigned. Multiple programs can be assigned at the same time; however, the user should only select programs that can be assigned to the same worker ID.

  11. Click the radio button for Manual Assignment. The Select button displays.

  12. Click the Select button.  The Select Worker page displays.

  13. Automatically Reassign When Activated in the Reassignment Option section defaults to Yes. This is an inactive field and does not need to be changed.

  14. Click the Assign button. This assigns the selected worker to the program block and navigates the user to the Case Summary page. See Workload Assignment for additional information.

  15. Complete each program block as required per policy.
