Perceptive Content Printer for Electronic Document - LIEAP

  1. Access KEES.

  1. Navigate to the Case Summary page for the LIEAP case associated to the documents.

NOTE: The user must be on the Case Summary page to auto-populate the Case Number and Case Name in the following steps. Perceptive Content is not able to read the IP Address if the page is minimized and an error displays.

  1. Access Perceptive Content.

  2. Set the default Application Plan. See Setting Default Application Plan - LIEAP for detailed steps.

  3. Open the electronic document to capture, e.g. Word, Excel.

  4. Click the File tab on the top left corner of the document then select Print from the menu.

  5. Select Perceptive Content Printer under the Printer drop-down menu.

  6. Click the Print button. The Perceptive Content Print dialog box displays.

  7. Select the Capture Profile from the drop-down menu.

NOTE: IN Printer – UNKNOWN Case – LIEAP - Place the Office Location in the First Name and the Last Name fields.  If the First and Last Name is Unknown enter the term ‘Unknown LIEAP’ in the First Name and/or Last Name field. For example, Office Location is Topeka, Last Name is Smith, and First Name is not known. This should be entered as ‘Topeka Unknown LIEAP’  ‘Topeka Smith’. 

  1. Click the OK button.

  2. The Enter Received Date dialog box displays. The date in the Enter Received Date dialog box defaults to the current date. If needed, this may be manually changed.

  3. Click the OK button.

  4. The Proposed Keys dialog box displays with Case Number, Case Number, Received Date and Unique ID.

  5. Select the Office Location from the drop-down menu if needed. By leaving <Please select location> as the default, the office location associated with the user’s Worker ID is selected.

  6. Select the Document Type from the drop-down menu. See DCF Imaged Forms Desk Aid for guidance on Document Type selection.
    NOTE: The user may have to scroll through the entire list as all values may not be alphabetized.

  7. Enter any Notes as appropriate.

  8. Verify the accuracy of the Document Keys.

  9. Click the Capture button. The imaged document opens in the Perceptive Content Viewer – Single Scan window.

  10. Review the images of the documents for clarity.
    NOTE: If the document is not readable, see the Image Unreadable steps in Troubleshooting for Imaging.

  11. Click the Save icon at the bottom of the Perceptive Content Viewer window. The Perceptive Content Viewer window closes.
