The Needs List page is used to view, edit or add the consumer’s needs. A need must be recorded in KEES to issue supportive services.
NOTE: When issuing Transportation Services, a Need Type of Bus Pass or Gas Card should not be selected. The issuance of bus passes and gas cards is done off system and not through KEES. Selecting these values causes errors when staff try to issue a payment in KEES because staff cannot indicate if the payment should be issued from EBT or SMART. As a result, additional work has to be completed to cancel these payments.
