Processing Enhanced Rate Request

Once the 1627a: Request for Enhanced Rate for Special Care form has been returned completed, the Program Administrator has given preliminary approval a request is made within a Child Care Plan for the child.  A task is generated for the RDB Child Care Enrollment queue.  For detailed steps regarding the Enhanced Rate Request business process, see Child Care (CC) Enhanced Rate for Special Care Process.

To Process an Enhanced Rate Request

  1. Within the context of the child care provider Resource Detail, select Enhanced Rate Request from Task Navigation. The Enhanced Rate Request List page displays.

  2. Select Pending from the Status drop-down menu. Click the View button.

  3. Click the Edit button for the Pending Enhanced Rate Request. The Enhanced Rate Request Detail page displays.

  4. Select the appropriate value from the Child Need Verified drop-down menu.

  5. Select the appropriate value from the Provider Enhanced Rate Status drop-down menu.

  6. The Begin Date and End Dates populate based on the dates entered on the Child Care Need Child Detail page. Adjust the dates if needed.

  7. Click the Save and Return button. The Enhanced Rate Request List page displays.

NOTE:  By updating the Provider Enhanced Rate Status the rate for the child and provider reflects the approved enhanced rate.
