Search by Custom Property

If the user does not see the search parameter they want to use in the drop-down menu, they can select Custom Property for other options. The search parameters available are dependent on the drawer selected.  KEES All Case Documents is used as an example.

  1. Access Perceptive Content.

  2. Left click the drop-down caret next to the Documents button on the Perceptive Content toolbar.

  3. Select KEES Unknown Case Documents as the desired Documents View filter. The Perceptive Content Explorer window opens.

  4. Select Custom Property from the first drop-down menu on the Quick Search tab. The Custom Property dialog box displays.

  5. Select desired search parameter from Custom Properties menu (e.g., Created By).

  6. Click the OK button. The selected value displays in the first drop-down menu on the Quick Search tab.

NOTE: The second drop-down menu usually displays ‘starts with’ but any search parameter may be selected from the drop-down menu.

  7. Enter the desired value in the search box (e.g., Training 15).

  8. Click the Go button. The search results displays.

  9. Double click the document the user wants to view. The document opens in the Perceptive Content Viewer window.
