Troubleshooting Registration - LIEAP

Wrong Application Date

The Edit Application Date process is used when a user has entered an incorrect application date in error. The worker would edit the application date to the correct date only if the application date entered incorrectly is in the same month as the correct application date. In all other scenarios a KEES Help DESK ticket should be submitted to remediate. The incorrect application date is no longer retained in KEES. This process can only be completed if the LIEAP Program is in Pending status.

  1. Navigate to the LIEAP Case Summary page.

  2. Change the Display Date to the month of the registered application and click the View button to refresh the page with the new display date.

  3. Click the View Details button in the LIEAP program block.  The LIEAP Detail page displays.

  4. Click the Edit button to make the page editable.

  5. Click the Edit button for the Application Date in the Program Information block. The Application Detail page displays.

  6. Enter the correct LIEAP Application Date in the Program Information block using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  7. Enter the correct Application Date in the Person Information block using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  8. Update the Beginning Date of Aid for each applicant with the correct first day of benefits (this is most often the application date) using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  9. Select Administrative Decision from the Change Reason drop-down menu.

  10. Click the Save and Return button. The LIEAP Detail page displays.

  11. Click the Save and Return button. The LIEAP Case Summary page displays

Missing Address

On the Case Summary page, click Contact from Task Navigation. Clicking Contact takes the user to the Contact Summary page where an address can be added using the Add button. See Contact Summary – LIEAP for additional information.

Added a PROGRAM Person in Error

a. On the Case Summary page, click the View Details button in the LIEAP program block.

b. Click the Edit button on the LIEAP Detail page.

c. In the Program Persons block, click the Edit button for the person added in error. The LIEAP Person Detail page displays.

d. Click the Remove button.

e. Click the Save and Return button on the LIEAP DETAIL page. The Case Summary page displays with the person no longer in the Program Block.

Missing LIEAP Program Block.

Wrong Case Head

Incorrect Name Spelling, SSN, or DOB Entered at Registration

  1. From the Case Summary page, select Eligibility from Global Navigation and Customer Information from Local Navigation.

  2. Select Individual Demographics from Task Navigation.

  3. Click the Edit button.

  4. On Individual Demographics, DOB and SSN can be edited if entered incorrectly.
