Updating Approved Children - Approved

When the Approved Child Status is updated KEES notifies EES Eligibility of the decision via task. This process must start within the context of the Provider Resource Detail. For more information on accessing the Resource Detail page, see Searching the Resource Databank.

To Update Approved Children - Approved

  1. Within the context of the relative child care provider Resource Detail, select Approved Children from Task Navigation. The Approved Children List page displays.

  2. Click the Edit button for the appropriate child. The Approved Child Detail page displays.

  3. Enter the Begin Date the child care provider is approved for the child using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  4. Select Approved from the Status drop-down menu.

  5. Click the Save and Return button. The Approved Children List page displays.

NOTE: It is necessary to complete the Adding Approved Children - Approved steps for each child included with the provider approval. If the provider was not approved to provide care for each child included on the referral, see the steps for Adding Approved Children – Denied.
