NOTE: Always check existing cases to determine if non-household members are linked to an existing SSP account. SSP account holders household or receiving benefits on the case should be unlinked from the case. See Non-Medical Account Linking/Unlinking for more information.
To register an Existing FCCC Case Number
1. Navigate to the Case Summary page of the FCCC case number you wish to use.
2. Complete the Add a Person - FCCC process for any applicants who are not already case persons. Proceed to STEP 3 if all required applicants are already case persons.
3. Add or update Contact Information for the Adult(s) in the home, if needed.
NOTE: Reminder DO NOT update the Foster Child(ren)’s address to match the other household members. Only update their address if it was changed in error from the address provided by the CPA/CMP.
i. Select Contact from Task Navigation. The Contact Summary page displays
ii. Click the Add button. The Address Detail page displays.
iii. Select the case person(s) to which the address applies.
iv. Enter the appropriate Begin Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
v. Select the appropriate Address Type(s).
vi. Enter the address and click the Save and Return button. The Select Address page displays.
· This page normalizes the address, meaning the address has been put into a standardized format.
vii. Select the radio button for the address to use and click the Select button. The Effective Dating Confirmation page displays any updates.
viii. Accept the Effective Dating if it is correct.
4. Complete the Rescind Program – FCCC or Reapply Program - FCCC process for any necessary program or person(s).
· Rescindreinstates an existing FCCC application date to Pending Status after the program application had been denied or discontinued. Rescinding sets the Program to Pending without logging a new application date.
The FCCC Program may be rescinded if:
· The family has received FCCC in the same month as the month we are adding a child. This can be done with a new application, change, or email received from the CPA/CMP. (New app not required.)
· FCCC discontinued in error.
· FCCC denied for no eligible provider, as provider had a temporary permit with KDHE at time of application.
· Reapplya FCCC program means to register a new application date on an existing FCCC program block.
The FCCC Program is reappliedif:
· The family has not had an active FCCC case within the past 12 months.
· The FCCC was discontinued, but they have had an open FCCC case in the last 12 months. This can be done with a new application, change, or email received from the CPA/CMP. (New app not required.)
· The case does not meet the criteria for the case being rescinded.
