Usable Case Number – FCCC

A usable Case Number for a FCCC applications must contain:

·         Only a Child Care program block with an FCCC Aid Code or FCCC Ghost Worker ID. No other programs (Child Care [for non-foster children], TANF, Food Assistance, LIEAP, P-EBT, Work Programs) should be registered to the case number.

 

·         An Appropriate Case Head. The Case Head is the person whose name displays in the banner at the top of the page when the user is in the context of a case. A Case Head is the ‘owner’ of the case.  A Case Head can never be changed. The Case Head should not be the child for whom care is being requested.

To determine if a Case Number is usable for FCCC:

1.      Is the Primary Applicant a Case Head on an existing FCCC only case?

·         If Yes, this is a useable case number. See Existing Case Registration – FCCC.

·         If No, proceed to STEP 2.

2.      Is the Primary Applicant’s spouse a Case Head on an existing FCCC only case?

·         If Yes, this is a useable case number. See Existing Case Registration – FCCC.

·         If No, proceed to STEP 3.

3.      Register a new case using the Primary Applicant as the Case Head. See New Case Registration – FCCC for instruction on registering a new case.
