If you bankrupt one person (but not the whole claim) then you need to mark the Override Person Status on the CCU Details page.
Select Fiscal from Global Navigation.
Select Collections from Local Navigation. The Recovery Account Search page displays.
Complete a search for the Recovery Account.
Click the Recovery Account hyperlink for the account needing the bankruptcy added. The Recovery Account Detail page displays.
In the Responsible Party block select the Person Name hyperlink. The Responsible Party Detail page displays.
Click the Edit button.
In the Bankruptcy Details block click the Add button. The Bankruptcy Detail page displays.
Complete the appropriate fields then click the Save and Return button. The Responsible Party Detail page displays.
If collection should continue on the Responsible Party skip to STEP 12, otherwise click the CCU Details button. The CCU Details page displays.
Select Yes from the Override Person Status drop-down menu.
Click the Save button. The Responsible Party Detail page displays.
Click the Save button then click the Close button. The Recovery Account Detail displays.
NOTE: If the Recovery Account Detail status needs updated following the bankruptcy of a responsible party, see Changing the Status of a Recovery Account (Suspend, Termination, Reactivation).
