Adding a Transferred Property/Income Record – Non-Medical

This resource is for Food Assistance only. It is used to document a Transfer of Property Penalty and to determine the penalty period.

To Add the Record

  1. Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click the Go button. The Case Summary page displays.

  2. Select Eligibility from Global Navigation. Select Customer Information from Local Navigation. Click the + beside Financial from Task Navigation to open the financial data collection pages. Select Resource from Task Navigation. The Resource List page displays.

  3. Select Non-Medical from the Program Type drop-down menu.

  4. Select Transferred Property/Income from the Resource Category drop-down menu.

  5. Click the Add button. The Transferred Property/Income Detail page displays.

  6. Select the name of the consumer who transferred the property from the Owner drop-down menu.

  7. Select Food Assistance from the Program drop-down menu.

  8. Select Property from the Type drop-down menu.

  9. Enter the Description of the transferred property.

  10. Enter the Date of Transfer using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  11. Enter the Value of the transferred property.

  12. Enter the payment Amount Received for the transferred property.

  13. Complete the Property block:

    1. Enter the total value of the consumers Other Countable Property in Month of Transfer.

    2. Enter the Description of the consumers other countable property in month of transfer.

    3. Enter the Property Limit for the consumer. This is the Resource Limit for the FA household.

  14. Click the Calculate button. The Transferred Property/Income Detail page redisplays with new fields to complete to determine the Period of Ineligibility (POI).

  15. Enter the POI Start Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  16. Click the Calculate POI button. The Period of Ineligibility populates the actual dates the consumer is ineligible for assistance.

  17. Select a Verified value from the drop-down menu.

  18. Click the Save and Add Another button to add additional Transferred Property/Income records. Otherwise, click the Save and Return button. The Resource List page displays.
