Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click Go. The Case Summary page displays.
Proceed to STEP 3 if a PPS Vendor Payment program block already exists on the Case Summary. Otherwise, add a Vendor Payment program block. See Add New Program – PPS.
Reapply the PPS Vendor Payments program block. See Rescind - PPS.
Select Eligibility from Global Navigation and Customer Information from Local Navigation.
Select Needs from Task Navigation. The Needs List page displays.
Click the Add Need button. The Needs Detail page displays.
Select the Name of the consumer using the drop-down menu.
Select the PPS Vendor Payments (VenPay) from the Category drop-down menu.
Select the appropriate Type from the drop-down menu.
Enter the Begin Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
Add a Description.
Select the appropriate Status from the drop-down menu.
Select the appropriate Status Reason from the drop-down menu.
Select Service Arrangement in the Save and Add New drop-down menu.
Click the Go button. The Service Arrangement Detail page displays. The Need and Type populate with the radio button selected.
Enter the following information found on the PPS-2833:
Arrangement Period using <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
NOTE: The Arrangement Period cannot exceed 100 days.
Select Same as Provider from the Payee drop-down menu. The Select button displays.
Click the Select button. The Select Service and Provider page displays.
Enter the Resource Name of the provider recorded on the Payee (Provider) Information section of the PPS-2833.
Select SMART Vendor from the Service Type drop-down menu.
Enter the Starting Address.
Click the Search button. The Search Results page displays.
Select the radio button for the correct provider.
NOTE: Vendor Payment providers must have SMART IDs.
Click the Select button. The Service Arrangement Detail page displays with the provider populated.
Select the appropriate Aid Code from the drop-down menu.
Select the appropriate value from the Voucher drop-down menu.
Enter a Service Type Description, Quantity and Amount in the appropriate fields.
Select Approved from the Status drop-down menu.
Select Eligible for Service from the Status Reason drop-down menu.
Enter a Status Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
Click the Save and Return button. The Service Arrangements List page displays with the newly created record.
