The Employment Detail page is used to add or edit employment records. Complete this page when a consumer is working. Employment information entered on this page is tied to wages entered on the Income Detail page. Self-Employment businesses are only entered on the Income Detail page; NOT on the Employment Detail page.
NOTE: If a Medical Employment record exists (an Employment record without an *), click the hyperlink and verify there is no information present in the Status Information block. If data exists, click the Edit button to make the page editable and use the check box to select the record and click the Remove button. Save the record.
NOTE: The Employment Status Detail page is used by Employment Services only to capture employment hours of participation.
Select Eligibility from Global Navigation. Select Customer Information from Local Navigation. Select Employment from Task Navigation. The Employment List page displays.
Click the Add button. The Employment Detail page displays.
Select the Name of the employed case person from the drop-down menu.
Select a Category value using the drop-down menu.
In the Employer Information section complete the following fields:
Enter the Employer Name in the text box, preceded by an * and a space.
If the employer is Wendy's the user enters: * Wendy's
The * and space indicates the record is affiliated with DCF
Enter the employer’s Address, if known.
Enter the employer's phone number in the Contact text box, if known.
In the Job Information section complete the following fields, if applicable or known:
Job Title
Date Hired using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
Termination Date (if applicable) using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
Termination Reason (if applicable)
Verified (select the appropriate value)
Job Quit Cause Determination (if applicable)
In the past 6 months, did this person: (check all that apply)
Select a Verified value from the drop-down menu under the Status Information section.
Click the Save and Return button. The Employment List page displays.
Select Eligibility from Global Navigation. Select Customer Information from Local Navigation. Select Employment from Task Navigation. The Employment List page displays.
Click the Edit button for the record to be edited. The Employment Detail page displays.
Enter the Termination Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
Select a Termination Reason value from the drop-down menu.
Select a Verified value from the drop-down menu.
Select a Job Quit Cause Determination value from the drop-down menu.
Select a Verified value from the drop-down menu under the Status Information Section.
Click the Save and Return button.
