Navigate to the Case Summary page for the case associated to the documents.
NOTE: The user must be within the context of a case and on the Case Summary page in order to auto-populate the Case Number and the Case Name in the following steps. Do NOT minimize the Case Summary page. Perceptive Content is not able to read the IP Address if the page is minimized and an error displays.
Left click the drop-down caret next to the Applications button on the Perceptive Content toolbar.
Set KEES Case as the default application plan. See Setting Default Application Plan for detailed steps.
Set Package Mode as the default Capture profile. See Setting Default Capture Profile for detailed steps.
While the Case Summary Page is open, click Capture on the Perceptive Content Toolbar.
The date in the Enter Received Date dialog box defaults to the current date and can be manually changed if needed. Click the OK button.
On the Perceptive Content Viewer - Package window, the Document Keys auto-populates with Case Number, Case Name, Received Date and Unique ID.
NOTE: The Case Number and Case Name auto-populate from the values on the Case Summary page. The Received Date also auto-populates based on the date entered in the Enter Received Date dialog box. The user can manually change the received date in the correct format (MM/DD/YYYY) on the Document Keys, if needed.
Select the Office Location from the drop-down menu if needed. By leaving <Please select location> as the default, the office location associated with the user’s Worker ID is selected.
Verify the user can view all document types on the left side of the Perceptive Content Viewer - Package window under Case – Task or Case – No Task as appropriate.
NOTE: The displayed list may need to be minimized by clicking the minus sign to the left of KEES Applications then clicking the plus sign to the left of Case – Task or Case – No Task to expand the respective list.
Select the Document Type from the list. See DCF Imaged Forms Desk Aid for guidance on Document Type selection.
Load all the consumer’s documents into the scanner.
Click the Capture icon on the bottom of the Perceptive Content Viewer - Package window. The scanner invokes and scans the document(s).
The scanned document(s) images directly into the document type selected and displays in the Perceptive Content Viewer. Review the images of the documents for clarity.
NOTE: If document is not readable, see the Image Unreadable steps in Troubleshooting for Imaging.
If additional documents associated to the same case but belonging to a different document type were submitted, click the thumbnail image(s) to drag and drop all other documents to their appropriate Case – No Task document type(s) which automatically changes the Document Type on the Document Keys.
Enter any Notes as appropriate for each document type.
Verify the accuracy of the Document Keys for each document type.
Click the Submit icon on the bottom of the Perceptive Content Viewer - Package window. The Perceptive Content Viewer window closes.
