MPI is the method used in the Person Search process to provide a unique Client ID.
MPI is the centralized storage of principal information for each consumer in KEES.
The MPI serves as the system of record for all person based information throughout KEES.
MPI issues a “Client ID Number” that identifies a person throughout KEES in addition to the legacy systems: Child Support Enforcement (CSE), Kansas Management Information Systems (KMIS), Family and Children Tracking System (FACTS) and Kansas Initiative for Decision Support (KIDS).
The KEES MPI uses the same client ID numbering scheme used in legacy systems.
Before beginning the File Clearance process, the user must complete the Person Search process.
This is done by accessing the Person Search page. It is important to complete a thorough search to avoid creating duplicate persons or additional case numbers during the File Clearance and Registration process.
