Processing Underpayments

To Process an Underpayment

  1. Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in Task Navigation and click the Go button.

  2. If people need to be added to the Program block for the underpayment see File Clearance and Registration to view how to Add a Case Person or Add a Program Person.

  3. If records need updated for case/program persons, select Eligibility from Global Navigation.

  4. Select Customer Information from Local Navigation.

  5. Click the + or sign next to Non-Financial or Financial to expand or collapse the list of non-financial or financial data collection pages.

  6. Update the necessary data collection pages for any information being used to process the underpayment.  See Non-Financial Data Collection and Financial Data Collection for additional information on completing these pages.

  1. Once KEES is updated with the information to be used in the benefit determination, navigate to the Run EDBC page.

  2. Run EDBC for the month of the underpayment. The EDBC result shows as “Not Accepted” on the EDBC List page.

  3. Click the EDBC hyperlink to view the EDBC Summary. The EDBC Summary shows if an underpayment exists.

  4. If an underpayment exists, click the Accept button.
