Financial Data Collection - Elderly and Disabled

 

To navigate to the Financial Data Collection pages, follow these steps:

  1. Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click Go.

  2. Click Eligibility from Global Navigation.

  3. Click Customer Information from Local Navigation. From here the financial data collection links display from Task Navigation.

  4. Click the + or sign next to Financial to expand or collapse the list of financial data collection pages.

 

Note: When processing an application, all information present on the application must be entered into KEES with the appropriate Verification status (Verified, Pending, Not Applicable or Refused).

 

If requesting verification from the applicant, it is important that workers create applicable KEES Non-Financial and/or Financial records with a Pending Verification status prior to making the request. This is required to ensure accurate case history is maintained.

 

General Page Functionality:

NOTE:  If processing prior Medical months all pertinent data collection records need to have the appropriate Begin Date. For example, if a consumer has requested prior Medical, the Begin Date for Income, Expenses, etc. should apply if the consumer had them during the prior Medical period. If a Begin Date is after the prior Medical month, rules do not use that information in the benefit calculation.

 

The Begin Date and End Date are both required when entering Actual Income; or a system error will generate.

Financial Data Collection Pages:

Certain data collection pages are required for all Medical programs. Others are only used for specific Medical programs.   See below for more detail.
