This section provides information on special processes related to Refugee Cash Assistance.
NOTE: If an RCA applicant has children, the user should process the case under the TANF program.
To process an RCA request the user needs to:
Create an RCA Program Block
Complete File Clearance & Registration
Enter the data collection information on the Non-Financial pages
Complete the Non-Citizenship Status Detail page
Complete the applicable Financial pages
Run EDBC
NOTE: Once EDBC has been accepted and saved a Refugee Status displays on the RCA Program Block on the Case Summary page. The Refugee Status is the status of the Primary Applicant. If additional information on refugee status is needed, navigate to the Non-Citizenship Detail page.
Do not register any RCA program blocks in KEES.
If an RCA program block is registered in error, the user should Negative Action the RCA program block and add a TANF program block.
