When adding a person that is new to KEES first do a Person Search. It is important to complete a thorough search to avoid creating duplicate persons or additional case numbers during the File Clearance and Registration process. See Person Search - Medical for detailed instructions.
Follow the following for each scenario listed:
If a usable case number is found, proceed to Existing Case Manual Application Registration for all applications (including e-Applications).
If all applicants are unknown to KEES, or known to KEES with no usable case number, proceed to New Case Manual Application Registration and follow steps 1 through 9 or New Case e-Application Registration.
Select the check box next to ADAP on the Select Programs page and click the Select button.
On the New Program Detail page review all entered information is correct then select Save and Continue button.
On the Pending Assignment page select the following:
Under the Program Information block check the box next to ADAP.
Under the Assignment Options block select Manual Assignment and select the Select button.
The Select Worker page displays select Casebank tab and select the Search button.
On the Select Casebank page select the box associated with ADAP Casebank Name and select the Select button.
The Pending Assignment List page will display select the Assign button.
The Case Summary page will display. Select the View Details button under the ADAP program block and select the following:
The ADAP Detail page will display select the Edit button.
In the Program Information section select Active from the Status drop-down.
Select No from the Automatically Reassign When Activated drop-down.
Select the Save and Return button until the Case Summary page displays.
Select ADAP from Task Navigation. The ADAP Coverage List page displays.
Click the Add button.
Use the Name drop-down menu to select the consumer that is applying to receive ADAP benefits.
Use the Coverage Type drop-down menu to select the type of coverage.
Use the Part drop-down menu to select Part A or Part B.
Enter the Begin Date and End Date for ADAP coverage using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
Click the Save and Return button. The ADAP Coverage List page displays.
NOTE: If the user is adding a new coverage period an Effective Dates Confirmation List page displays. KEES automatically end dates the initial coverage the day before the new coverage takes place. Review the page for accuracy and click the Save button.
