Adding a Noncustodial Parent Record

  1. Select Eligibility from Global Navigation. Select Customer Information from Local Navigation. Select Noncustodial Parents from Task Navigation.

  2. Click the Add button. The Noncustodial Parent Detail page displays.

NOTE: KEES populates children on the program in the Children (In your Home) of Noncustodial Parent section.

  1. Select a Paternity Status value from the drop-down menu.

NOTE: Per policy if the consumer meets the Expedited Paternity status criteria, it is indicated by selecting Expedited Paternity from the Paternity Status drop-down menu.

  1. Click the Referral check box(es) for the child(ren) who the absent parent’s information is being completed.

NOTE: When the absent parent is associated to more than one child in the home the referral check boxes must be selected for all applicable children to create a single referral for all the children indicated.

  1. Select the noncustodial parent’s Name from the drop-down menu. If it is not available, select Other.

  2. Complete the First Name and Last Name text boxes under the Potential Noncustodial Parent Personal Information section.

NOTE: Enter Unknown in the Last Name text box if the name is not known.

  1. Complete all required fields as well as any additional known information regarding the Noncustodial Parent(s).

  2. Click the Save button. The Noncustodial Parent Detail page displays in a view-only mode.  Click the Edit button, if updates are necessary or the Close button, to return to the Noncustodial Parent List page.
