Entering a Final Disposition as the initiating state should only be completed after the appropriate case action has been taken to approve or deny FA benefits. In order to record the final disposition staff must locate the match, see Searching for an Existing NAC Match for detailed steps.
NOTE: If a match should be recorded as invalid, see Invalid Match for detailed steps.
From the Duplicate Participation Match Details page:
Select the appropriate Vulnerable Individual radio button, if needed.
Select either Benefits Approved or Benefits Denied from the Final Disposition drop-down menu.
NOTE: As the initiating state do not select Benefits Terminated or Benefits Unchanged as they are values used specifically by the matching state on a match.
Enter the Final Disposition Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
If/when the Benefits Approved Final Disposition Reason is chosen, the date entered should be the Benefits Start Date, which will be the first day that the client is approved for Benefits.
If/when the Benefits Denied Final Disposition reason is chosen should be the Application Date or Final Disposition Date.
Click the Submit to NAC button.
