Entering a Final Disposition as the initiating state should only be completed after the appropriate case action has been taken, or it is determined no change is needed to the existing case. In order to record the final disposition staff must locate the match, see Searching for an Existing NAC Match for detailed steps.
NOTE: If a match should be recorded as invalid, see Invalid Match for detailed steps.
From the Duplicate Participation Match Details page:
Select the appropriate Vulnerable Individual radio button, if needed.
Select either Benefits Terminated or Benefits Unchanged from the Final Disposition drop-down menu.
NOTE: As the matching state do not select Benefits Approved or Benefits Denied as they are values used specifically by the initiating state on a match.
Enter the Final Disposition Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
If/when the Benefits Terminated Final disposition reason is chosen, the Benefits End Date should populate and be entered as per the Date that the clients benefits ends in Kansas.
If/when the Benefits Unchanged Final Disposition Reason has been chosen, the Final Disposition Date should populate and be entered as the date action is finally taken on this case.
