When processing a case, it is important to determine if a NAC Query has already been completed, as we should not be running duplicate queries. This should be done for clients with a NAC Verified SSN at initial FA Application, FA Review, and any time a person is added to the FA program block. To complete a search follow the steps below.
From within the context of the case:
Select Eligibility from Global Navigation. Select Customer Information from Local Navigation. Select Verification Interfaces from Task Navigation. The Verification Interface List page displays.
Select NAC from the Verification Type drop-down menu.
Click the View History button. The Duplicate Participation Request History page displays.
If records display in the Search Results Summary section, review the information to determine if an inquiry was run on the applicable client(s) for the desired date range and search reason. Data displayed includes Name, Match ID, Participant ID, Date Request Sent, Search Reason, as well as the Worker ID who initiated the search.
If a match is found, see Searching for an Existing NAC Match for detailed steps on finding the record to update.
If no records are returned or no match is found a NAC Query can be run, see Running a NAC Query for detailed steps.
