Other Program Assistance (OPA) - Family Medical

The Other Program Assistance Detail page is used for adding or editing information needed for specific programs which do not have rules built into KEES.  For Medical, this page is used for SOBRA, BCC, and TB eligibility information.

ADDING TWO SOBRA RECORDS ON THE OPA PAGE FOR THE SAME MONTH

When adding more than one SOBRA record for the same month:

1. Navigate to the Other Program Assistance page.

2. Click the Add button and add the two records needed for the month.  

3. Set the Begin Date and End Date to the actual dates of service. (This information does not go anywhere but KEES.  So, treatment dates and record dates would be the same.)

   NOTE: This does NOT work when you have a ONE date record.  For this record you set the Effective Date of Treatment as 09/01/2016 and the End Date of Treatment as: 09/01/2016 and then the Begin Date as: 09/01/2016 and the End Date as 09/02/2016.

4. Journal the correct dates of service.
