Workarounds

Medical programs are supported by online Eligibility Determination and Benefit Calculation (EDBC). EDBC uses rules aligned with policy to determine eligibility. A case can be approved, denied or discontinued by running EDBC. A user can also make a decision to deny or discontinue a program without using EDBC rules. This is known as Negative Action. Also see Deny or Discontinue a Program Using Negative Action for more information.
