File Clearance and registration is the process to:
Determine if child is known to the system
Determine if child is known to the system and that a usable case number exists
Assign a Client ID and Case Number
Establish a Medical Program
Assign a worker to the case
Before beginning the File Clearance process, the user must complete the Person Search process; this is done by accessing the Person Search page. It is important to complete a thorough search as to avoid creating duplicate persons or additional case numbers during the File Clearance and Registration process.
