Initial Action refers to the first action taken on a NAC match. Initial action must be taken immediately when a match has been identified, and then the action must be recorded in KEES on the match record. In order to record initial action, staff must have completed the steps for Running a NAC Query or Searching for an Existing NAC Match.
Initial actions differ based on if Kansas is receiving the match as the initiating state or the matching state.
