The National Accuracy Clearinghouse (NAC) is a Federally Monitored database used to prevent the issuance of duplicate Food Assistance benefits to a client by more than one state. The NAC is for Food Assistance only and does not check or house information for other programs.
Information is sent to the NAC for any Active Food Assistance MEM with a NAC verified SSN.
NOTE: A NAC verified SSN is one that has been verified through the SSA; meaning the SSN Status on the Individual Demographics page is either HUB-SSA or SSA-SVES.
